Hello, I'm Daniel Antoni Niewierowski!

CS@UIUC Alum 🧑‍💻

About me🙋‍♂️

Hello 👋 I'm Daniel. I am a new grad with a BS of Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I'm interested in building scalable API's and backends that rely on fault tolerant distributed systems. Realtime data consuming and processing pipelines and peer-to-peer systems also interest me. I would be excited to work on any Open Source projects.

  • Summer 2019 I interned at American Family insurance where I built an Android application and made transformational upgrades to an existing backend/frontend application. I was responsible for meeting and corresponding with business partners across several departments to assess impacts of application upgrades before they went live into production.

  • Summer 2018 I interned at the Illinois Applied Research Institute, where I worked remotely on projects for Sandia National Labs. I developed applications using cutting edge technologies such as Kubernetes, React, Python-Flask and Continous Integration with Jenkins.

  • Take a look at some projects I've worked on.

In my free time, you can find me experimenting in the kitchen (ask me about my fermentations)👨‍🍳, on the tennis courts 🎾, or on the slopes⛷.
